The 2019 Summer box from FabFitFun marks the second summer box that I have received. I always love summer boxes because they tend to be filled with fun products. Last summer I received a beach towel I adore and a contour kit that I still use regularly. I couldn’t wait to see what they sent this year!
Subscription boxes would probably become an addiction for me if I had unlimited funds for them! There seems to be a subscription box for pretty much everything nowadays, including a Keto snack crate! The only reason I stick with FabFitFun as my main box of choice is that they offer full-size products in a wide range of categories. Variety is the spice of life! I always enjoy trying out other boxes when I can though!

Fitness & Fun
Invisibobble
Of course, these would show up after I chopped off all my hair! These promise to solve all your ponytail problems by providing a strong and traceless grip. I used to wear ponytails all the time while running with long hair and I expect these would have been quite welcome back then!
Thankfully they will still find good use because I’ll let my daughter use them for school! she tested them out a few times during summer break and they seem to work pretty well! At the very least they were easy to take out (didn’t pull her hair) and I didn’t have to retighten her ponytail throughout the day endlessly like I sometimes have to do with scrunchies.
Burn 60 Resistance Bands
These were one of my customization options for this summer box. Resistance bands are extremely helpful when it comes to at home workouts – and yet I didn’t have a set! Crazy right? My home workouts will be much more satisfying and since they come as a set with light, medium and heavy resistance I can work them in without worrying about overdoing it!
I thought they would be more useful long term then the necklace or silicone wine glasses that made u my other choices. I admit to being somewhat tempted by the necklace though!
Summer Skincare!
Grace & Stella Rose Facial Spray
There is no doubt that the summer heat can play havoc with our skin and make-up. It’s hard to look nice and refreshed when you’re melting away. This wonderfully scented rose infused spray promises to be the perfect midday refresher for your skin. Supposedly it can also act as a make-up setting spray which I’m eager to try!
I have used this product only a few times while on vacation and I have to say I have enjoyed the scent quite a bit! I think it did help my skin stay moisturized while out in the sun but I haven’t tried it with make-up yet.
Dr. Roger’s Restore Healing Balm
This healing balm is probably the perfect item to include in a summer box! While our family always makes it a point to be vigilant about sunscreen during our outdoor activities it’s still easy to overlook one spot or stay out just a bit too long before reapplying. This balm is all natural and promises to soothe and heal dry and damaged skin. It can be used for burns, scrapes, dry skin and more!
During our summer vacation, my kids spent so much in the pool and in the sun that both of them ended up with a couple of hot spots – and my oldest managed to rub raw spots on her palms from the rough side of the pool. This balm worked beautifully! Brookes palms healed up in no time and the small sunburned spots healed up without even peeling. Will definitely keep this on hand for future trips!
Whish Exfoliating Foot Mask
I was dubious about this at first. It seemed weird to put something on my feet and then sleep in it but after trying it out it’s not so bad! The ‘mask’ is clear, smells alright and dries pretty quickly. Most importantly to me? Once it’s dry you can’t really tell it there.
I’ve used it a couple of times now, not sure if it’s making my feet softer or not like it claims but my feet get pretty beat up in the summer with all the walking, running and sandal wearing we do. So! It certainly can’t hurt! I expect I’ll see more of a difference with regular use.
Generation Clay – Ultra Violet Brightening Purple Clay Mask
I have never claimed to like facial masks. In fact, I have yet to find one I actually like. This one gained some points for being purple..because of purple! But, it didn’t smell so great and the tightening feeling as it dried was strange. That said I much prefer it to the sheet masks I have tried and it did make my face feel super smooth so that’s something!
Grown Alchemist, Orange Peel, and Vanilla Hand Cream
If you like the smell of creamsicles then you will like this cream. I love the way this smells and would probably wear it for that alone! The cream is thick but rubs in quickly without a greasy residue. Supposedly it’s good for my cuticles and nails too which is nice since my nails have long been neglected.
2019 Summer Box Blogger’s Special
XO, Sienna Black Felt Letter Board
I don’t know how I have been a blogger for this long without owning one of these. I mean it seems like everyone has one and I always meant to get one I just never got around to it. I’m going to be so useful for Instagram and blog photos which made it a no brainer when I saw it offered as a customization option. I love all the little symbols it came with and I can’t wait to try it out.
Spiritual Gangster Maya Kimono
I mean you need fun clothes for all those Instagram shoots right? And I admit I’ve always wanted one of these cute little wraps. I loved the neutral colors which meant I can pair it with practically anything and the bold pattern is right up my alley too! Another no brainer with this choice!
The kimono from this 2019 summer box is soft and light, it works well as a bathing suit cover-up if you want or as a light sun cover over shorts and a tank top. I expect I’ll be wearing it well into the fall since we don’t need a warmer cover-up here until well into winter.
I always love seeing what goodies you get in these boxes, Kristin! That letter board is awesome and so handy for blogging, that will look fab in your photos! I really love the kimono too, that looks so light and pretty – perfect for summer! You got some really lovely beauty bits too, hope you enjoy all your treats, thanks for sharing! <3 xx

I think the Kimono and letterboard are my favorites from this box so far for sure! Though I also think the fitness bands will come in handy once I start working out regularly again when the kids head back to school! Been so busy this summer that my routine has kind of slipped haha.
Wow, quite a collection of amazing products. And I agree, how have you made it this far into blogging without owning a letter board. The kimono looks great. Sounds perfect for those warm summer days when you want to wear something light and easy to take off over a bathing suit or other clothes.
I love the Kimono simply because it’s so light and flowy, makes it good for a bit of extra sun protection without getting too hot for sure! And I have no idea about the letterboard haha! I know you use yours all the time so I’m hoping mine will be just as handy.
