It’s that time of year again! This 2019 FabFitFun Spring Box officially marks one year since I subscribed. A full year of FabFitFun has certainly opened my eyes to a lot of products I wouldn’t have tried otherwise. I have loved some items and not been as fond of others which is to be expected. But! I love the surprise and fun that comes with every box that shows up! Signing up for FabFitFun was a wild leap of faith a year ago, one more step on my personal journey. It was part of my mission to treat myself more often and I am happy to say it’s been more than worthwhile! We all deserve to treat ourselves from time to time.

 2019 FabFitFun Spring Box – Picnics and Baking!

Sunnylife Lovers Picnic Set

Is there anything that screams Spring more than a picnic? The return of warm and sunny weather brings with it the desire to spend more time outside. It’s a sweet way to spend time with my husband and my kids love the novelty! When this item showed up as a customization option for my spring box it seemed like the perfect choice for us! The other options included some sunglasses and a wild rose sleeping facial. The sunglasses were a close second choice but picnic kit won out in the end!

Although we haven’t had the chance to use them yet I have to say I was very impressed with the quality. The silverware is sturdy and well made – definitely a step up from plastic throwaway versions (and better for the environment too!). The plates also seem well made and the carry case is very convenient with a handle that could easily be strapped to a hiking bag or fit in a camping kit without taking up much room.

Giadzy Copper Plated Measuring Spoons

This was another customization option for the 2019 FabFitFun Spring Box. These were a very easy choice for me because I have been in desperate need of new measuring spoons for quite some time! These beautiful spoons make a wonderful addition to my kitchen and are sure to get a lot of use! The other options were a body lotion and a mystery item. I’ll be honest if I didn’t need the measuring spoons so badly I would have been sorely tempted by the mystery Item. After all, I do love a surprise!

2019 FabFitFun Spring Box – Time to Relax!

Unplug Meditation Aromatherapy Diffuser

This was the third customization option for this box and probably the hardest choice for me to make! The other choices were a beautiful floral robe and a cute little backpack. In the end, I picked the diffuser because I love a bright burst of scent when I enter a room! I have recently become a huge fan of Goose Creek Candles but this is the first time I have used a diffuser!

I admit to trying this out almost as soon as I pulled it out of the box! It works as well I hoped and the orange scent it came with is pretty spectacular. My kids, on the other hand, were less impressed with the scent and just fascinated by the different colors it glowed when you turn on the LED.

Manna Kadar Champagne Body Scrub

It’s rare that I find a body scrub I truly want to try. When I saw this item in my box I was slightly disappointed but I opened it anyways…and completely changed my mind. Hello, delicious scent! I couldn’t wait to jump in the shower and give it a try! I’m not sure if it truly made my skin softer, but, the smell alone means I plan to keep using it! Thankfully it seems pretty gentle too, some scrubs can be too grating which is part of the reason I don’t usually like them, but this one doesn’t bother me at all!

Tula Purifying Face Cleanser

Since I have started wearing make-up more frequently in the last year then facial cleansers have become pretty important. I was quite happy to find this item in my box! I tried this out the first night I received it and it did seem to remove every last trace of my make-up! It has a nice creamy texture and not much of a scent to speak of which is far preferable to the chemical scents of other products I have tried.

Dr. Brandt Skincare Eye Depuffing Gel

I recently started wearing contacts! They were terrible at first but I’ve come to like them now! Unfortunately, without my glasses hiding them I have found a fairly appalling set of bags under my eyes! To say I was thrilled to see this item in my box would be an understatement! It’s almost like FabFitFun knew exactly what I needed! I have used this a few times since receiving it and noticed a pretty good result! I expect it will get even better as I continue to try it.

Ouai Leave-in Conditioner

Living in the south can play havoc with your hair! I’ve recently started using personalized haircare and it has helped a great deal but some days require even more help! This leave-in conditioner sprays on very smoothly and doesn’t seem to weigh my hair down much as all, I expect it will get a lot of use this summer!

The 2Bandits Athens Necklace

I love jewelry! I didn’t always but I do now! I don’t wear it every day but it’s nice to have a sweet collection for the days which require it or whenever I want to feel extra pretty! I have gotten jewelry in my FabFitFun boxes before and never been disappointed. This necklace is no exception. At first, I thought it was just a cute little silver bar but closer inspection revealed a very pretty iridescent inlay.  This small and simple detail makes me love it all the more!
